Fred Vigil
Fred was born November 22, 1947 in Brighton, CO to Amadeo and Elbira (Sandoval) Vigil and was the youngest of 5 siblings. He passed away on May 1, 2022. He was married on November 30, 1968.
Fred lived his whole life in Brighton working as a warehouseman, a maintenance man, a car wash employee and various other jobs. Fred enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, WWE wrestling, tinkering in his garage, and making Denver Broncos heads, benches and wells. While working at the Signal Car Wash in Brighton, Fred made many friends. He loved visiting with the customers and learning what was new in their lives. Being a playmate to his grandchildren was Fred's heart's joy. He would relax by watching old westerns on TV.
Fred is survived by his wife, Roseanna (Pinard); his children; Anita, Freddie and Valerie (Ed) Elizalde along with his grandchildren; Dominic, Ruben and Arianna Mendoza; Freddie Jr and Jadah Vigil; and Damien and Eliza Elizalde and one great granddaughter, Anayah Canales; two sisters, Mary Duran and Viola Vigil and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, Art and "Fatch" Vigil, one sister, "Polly" Rivera and one grandson, Damian Nunez.
