Garry Dean Shipman

Garry Dean Shipman went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2021.

He was born August 12, 1936 in Eaton, Colorado, to Paul and Merna Shipman.

Graduated from Pueblo High School and went on to graduate from Life Bible College with a Degree in Ministry.

He met the love of his life, Julia Tunnell, while attending Life Bible College and they were married June 22,1958.  After graduation, his Ministry began in Grant, Nebraska. A few years later, he moved to Denver to accept a position as Associate Pastor at the Southwest Denver Foursquare Church for 18 years.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Paul and Merna Shipman, and his brother Duane Shipman and his wife, Barbara Shipman.

He is survived by his brother Paul (and Lois) Shipman, by his wife, Julia Shipman; 4 children: Sheryl Shipman, Kevin (and Laurie) Shipman, Cindy (and Rodney) DeLeon, and Scott Shipman; 5 grandchildren: Tony (and Jessie) Shipman, Lissa (and Justin) Miller, Derrick DeLeon, Zach DeLeon, and Alex Shipman; and 6 great-grandchildren: Danika, Layne, Nora, Sloan, Nyellie, and Melaya.

He lived a life dedicated to the Lord and to his Family.
