Gary graduated in 1986 from Northern Illinois University with a degree in computer science. Gary dedicated many years of his life to his work as a computer programmer. He was a lover of animals, especially cats. His heart reached out for any animals in the neighborhood where he lived. He spent many hours with his pets.
Dad's passion for shooting, reading and fishing was a defining part of his life. He found peace and joy in shooting at the gun range, reading western novels, or going fishing, a love he often shared with his children and friends. His unwavering strength, kindness, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Gary should best be remembered for his great and wonderfully generous heart. He would always give to anyone in need. He gave to so many worthy organizations over the years. He would give to church and missionaries. He always listened to the Holy Spirit and gave wherever it led him.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the memories and the lasting impact dad had on our lives. He will forever live on in our hearts.
