Gene Edward Adams

Gene Edward Adams passed away on June 11, 2022 at the age of 80. Gene was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Donna, 2 daughters Amber and Tisha, and 2 sisters Robbyn and Barbara.

Gene was born in San Bernadino, CA on June 14, 1941. He spent the majority of his life in Colorado Springs, CO where he married Donna and raised his daughters. Gene worked as a skilled sheet metal worker and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was devoted to his family and never left his feelings unsaid. Gene had a welcoming nature and a great sense of humor. He could laugh and strike up a conversation with anyone... anywhere. Anywhere he went, he was often recognized by people that he had befriended at some point in his life.  

Gene loved to play card/board games, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music, and eating tacos. His family and friends know how much he loved camping, adventuring, and riding his ATV with Donna. In fact, he and Donna greatly enjoyed being part of a close group of friends who formed an ATV group called Quad Dusters. They camped together and rode trails all over the Colorado mountains for over 30 years. 

Gene was loved as deeply as he loved his family and friends. 

We will have a "Celebration of Life" gathering sometime after Labor Day in Colorado Springs.
