Gerald Wittig Obituary

Gerald E. Wittig, 61, of Johnstown, passed away July 7, 2017 in Loveland. He was born February 7, 1956 in Denver, CO to Raymond and Elsie (Hilderbrand) Witttig and graduated from Brighton High School in 1974.

Gerald worked for Rainbo Bread for many years before starting in the construction industry where he worked about 27 years. He spent his entire life in the northeast part of Colorado. He loved to spend time fishing, enjoyed Rockies baseball and loved his kids. He enjoyed taking weekend trips on his Harley.

Gerald is survived by three children, Rick Hemion of Alabama, Ryan Wittig of California and Josh Wittig of Colorado; three siblings, Susie (Howard) Eurich of Johnstown, Jeanette (Jeff) Jones of Brighton and Thomas (Joyce) Wittig of Platteville and two grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Hudson Party Barn, 22186 Hwy 52 in Hudson.
