Gloria Rose
Gloria Rose was born May 15, 1946, to Joe Loredo and Tomasita Campos in Ft. Lupton Colorado. She attended schools in Weld County and graduated from Weld Central High School in 1964.
Gloria owned a El Nopalito in the early 70’s with her parents, Eddie & Juanita Loredo who raised her. In 1973 she had her first daughter, Dawn and 2 years later in 1975 her daughter Davetta was born.
Gloria worked in retail while raising her two girls in Brighton. In 1983 she married the love of her life, Duane Rose, they moved out to the country and together raised the girls.
They remained in Brighton and after the girls were older, she opened Gloria’s Mexican Restaurant in Ft. Lupton Colorado. She closed the restaurant in 1997 after the death of her father Eddie. Gloria loved family time. She loved being a grandma and spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it was at sporting events, picking them up from school, or just having them over.
Gloria is survived by her husband Duane Rose, daughters Dawn (Joseph) Espinosa, Davetta (Chris) Giron, Grandchildren: Justine (Ben Santos) Espinosa, Jonathan Espinosa, Anthony (Tori Morales) Solis, Tristen Giron and Giovanni Giron. She is proceeded in death by her grandson Andrew Villegas.
She is also survived by her brothers Joe (Pat) Loredo, Phil (Cheryle) Esparza, sister Rosalie Stone and many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and extended family.
She is also proceeded in death of her parents Joe Loredo (father), Tomasita Zuniga (mother) and the parents who raised her Eddie & Juanita Loredo.
Gloria will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
