Harold Corder Obituary

Harold Junior Corder passed away on July 20, 2020 at the age of 91.  He was born on July 5, 1929 to Daniel and Mary Corder in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri.  Harold married Deloris Godfrey in 1966 and were married for 48 years.

Harold worked construction for a while then spent several years managing turkey farms.  In the mid 70’s, the family moved to town and Harold started his own handy-man business, “Corder’s Fix-It”, which he continued until retirement.

He grew up with a love for music, having three brothers who played professionally, and taught himself to play the guitar along with other instruments.  Family gatherings always saw the guitars come out and music being played.

Harold was the father of seven children: Nina (Jim), Doug (Betsy), Sherry (Klindt), Rick (April), Traci (Don), David (Arlene) and Barb (Rick).  He was also very proud of his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Harold volunteered at school for his grandkids and quickly became known as grandpa to all the children.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris; daughters, Nina and Traci; and all his siblings.
