Obituary

Henry "Junior" Cler, 61, of Brighton, departed this world on September 22, 2012. He was born October 24, 1950 to Henry and Marie (Gleim) Cler in Gothenburg, NE. Junior moved to Brighton with his family in 1963 where he attended Brighton High School prior to joining the US Army. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era from 1970-1972.

Upon returning home he went to work for the Great Western Sugar Factory, later taking a job at Rocky Mountain Redi-Mix where he was employed for 27 years. For the last four years he has devoted his life to being a caregiver to his mother.

Junior loved fishing, camping and family gatherings. Most of all he loved his dogs, Kong and Cricket.

Junior is survived by his mother, Marie Cler of Brighton; brother, Don (Sandi) Cler of Ft. Lupton; four nieces, Dee-Dee (Gary) Cler, Dawn (Ronny) Cler, Lori (David) Castilleja and Tammy Kipf; nephew, Conrad Blaylock; six great nieces and six great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry and sister, Barbara.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
