Herman "Tiny" Martin Palomino
Herman Palomino, 57, of Brighton, Colorado passed away on September 22, 2021.
Herman was born on March 10, 1964 in Denver, Colorado to Herman Cadena and Maria Palomino and was one of twelve siblings. He married his wife Jody on August 20, 1988 and together they raised their two daughters in Arvada before moving to Brighton in 2002.
He dedicated the last 27 years of his life working for the City of Commerce City in the Public Works Department. Work was very much a part of his life and he was well known within the entire community.
He was generous, kindhearted and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was family, a friend or a neighbor, Herman was there for them. He had many passions in his life such as playing and coaching sports, eating great food and traveling with his wife, daughters and brother-in-law John throughout the United States, Mexico and Europe. His greatest passion of all was his love for his family and friends and he made sure they were always included in everything he was a part of. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos.
One of the greatest joys in his life were his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing football, golf and baseball with Jeremiah, pushing Faith on the swing, playing kickball in the backyard and having them spend the night. He loved every moment spent with them. They truly had his heart and anyone who knew him, knows he loved them very much.
He is survived by his wife Jody, daughters Leslie (Leroy) Lucio and Brittany Palomino, two grandchildren Jeremiah and Faith Lucio. Included are his eleven siblings, their husbands and wives as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is preceded in death by both parents, Herman Cadena and Maria Palomino.
Herman touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
