Ida Mary Duran, 91, of Fort Lupton, Colorado, was called to heaven on July 17,2026. Ida was born on September 12, 1934, in La Salle, Colorado to Filadelfio, and Hilaria (Garcia) Lovato. She grew up in the La Salle and Greeley area. Later she met her husband Joseph Louis Duran and together they raised their children Nick, Victoria, Robert, Louis, Lawrence in the Fort Lupton area.
Later in life, Ida went to college and received her degree in Early Child Education. She worked with the Teen Renaissance Program for the Brighton School District 27j as a nursery supervisor. She enjoyed her job and met some lifelong friends there. She loved to do embroidery, reading books, but most of all she loved to dance.
She always loved her family and when her children and grandchildren came around, she would always have some food for them to eat. There were no strangers in her eyes she always made everyone welcome and treated them with love and respect.
Ida is survived by her sons, Robert, Louis (Revetta), Larry (Tristram), Brother Gilbert Lovato,13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
