Irene Monica McFall

Irene M. McFall  (October 5, 1927 – December 30, 2019)

Irene Monica (Herman) McFall, 92, went to be with the Lord on December 30th, 2019 in Denver, Colorado. Born October 5th, 1927 in Lawrence, KS to Fredlin and Amelia Herman, Irene was the youngest of three children. She married the love of her life, Larry McFall in 1946.

Irene worked at Samsonite Luggage Corp. for 38 years. A dedicated mother and grandmother, Irene enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. Some of Irene’s favorite things included camping, fishing, shopping, garage sailing, traveling, her children, grandchildren, and her dogs.

Irene is survived by brother Simon Herman; her son Gary McFall; son Fred McFall; daughter Sharlene (John) Piper; son Wally (Laura) McFall; granddaughter Monica (Kayla) Piper; and grandson Chris (Aubrieana) Ekberg.

 Irene is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Larry McFall; partner John Owens; Grandson Chris McFall; and brother Albert Herman.

Services are as follows; viewing will be held Tuesday January 7th, 2020 at 10am at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am at also at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Reception will follow at the St. Augustine Parish Life Center
