J Michael Williamson

J Michael Williamson (J), 44 years old of Keenesburg, Colorado, passed June 9, 2018, from a car accident.

J was born September 19, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, to Keith and Dianna Williamson. Growing up in Loveland, Colorado, with his three brothers Brad, Drew and Eric, J had an adventurous spirit and lived life to the fullest. J graduated from Thompson Valley High School, in Loveland, CO. He began skiing at an early age, grew up playing high school sports, enjoyed family trips and celebrating holidays as a family of six. J was wild and fun. As a result, J and his brothers kidnapped their dad, Keith, on his birthday. Next thing Keith knew, he was parachuting out of a plane with his four sons. He went on to earn his motorcycle mechanic certification from MMI, in Phoenix, Arizona.

On October 1, 2010, in Key West, Florida, J married his best friend, Lindi. Together they built a life they loved with Tess and Jax. Some of their best times together were spent on the farm, building a family business, and of course motorcross.

J was mechanically gifted. He loved to tinker in his workshop. There was nothing J couldn’t build, fix, construct or conquer. J was the natural peacemaker, and had a sincere interest in anyone he met, which made him a friend to all. But what he took the most pride in was being a husband and a father.

J is survived by his wife, Lindi, daughter Tess, son Jax; daughter Chloe (Des Moines, Iowa); Parents: Keith and Dianna Williamson (Loveland, Colorado); Brothers: Brad (wife, Nell) Williamson (Breckenridge, Colorado), Drew (wife, Grace) Williamson (Ft. Collins, Colorado) and

Eric (wife, Jenn) Williamson (Brighton, Colorado); Nieces and Nephews: Ester, Jordan, Marquez, Sophie, Ben and Nash; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins: Heather Mosier (Florida), William Dailey (Florida), Emily Phillips (Washington), five others (Texas); Lifelong Friends: LG Zwetzig and Chad Strotheide; Mother and Father-in-law: Steve and Sandy Jenkins (Brighton, Colorado); Brother and Sister-in-law, Corey and Erica Jenkins (Commerce City, Colorado). J has been preceded in death by four grandparents.

A celebration of J’s life will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 2:00pm. The Alli Event Center is located at 100 S 3rd Avenue Brighton, Colorado and will be officiated by Chap Nelson. As a tribute to J, the family requests that everyone dress casually. A reception to be held immediately following at the Copper Rail Bar and Grill, 174 S Main Street, Brighton, Colorado.

A private family burial will be in Loveland, Colorado. Pall bearers: Brad Williamson, Drew Williamson, Eric Williamson, LG Zwetzig, Chad Strotheide, William Dailey, Jordan Williamson and Corey Jenkins.
