Jaccob Darbonnier Hernandez was born on December 14, 1993, in Clovis, California, and went to sleep in death on May 14, 2026, in Brighton, Colorado. He lived a life marked by love, creativity, energy, spirituality, and a deep commitment to lifting others higher. He will forever be remembered for the radiant smile he was so famously known for. Jaccob was a spiritual man whose presence carried warmth, humor, and a sincere desire to make the world better through compassion, awareness, and healing.
He is remembered with profound love for and by his beloved daughter, Carson Kanoa Len MacDonald; his mother, Michelle Darbonnier Eaton; his sisters, Mia Bernadette Darbonnier and Sarah Elizabeth Darbonnier; his nephew, Maeson Avery Darbonnier; and his girlfriend, Madison Jade Van Hee. Each held a special place in his heart, and each carries forward a part of his spirit through all he taught them. Jaccob was a son, father, brother, uncle, boyfriend, best friend, and a soul who made a lasting impact simply by being fully himself.
Jaccob’s greatest achievement was the relationship he shared with his daughter, Carson. Their bond reflected the deepest truth of who he was. He loved with intention, showed up with his whole heart, and understood that the greatest success in life is not measured by accolades, but by the love we give and the lives we shape. In Carson, he found purpose that sharpened his focus and expanded his heart. In her, he saw legacy, light, and the living proof that love leaves a lasting mark.
Family was central to Jaccob’s story. He was the beloved son of Michelle Darbonnier Eaton, whom he continuously sought to make proud through both his words and actions. Time and time again, he succeeded, as his mother recognized even the smallest efforts he made out of love for her. He was a devoted brother to Mia Bernadette Darbonnier and Sarah Elizabeth Darbonnier. Jaccob took on a protective, fatherly role with his sisters and believed deeply in shielding them from harm — especially “boys” — while also being their biggest supporter, listening ear, shoulder to cry on, and source of endless laughter.
He was also a cherished uncle to Maeson Avery Darbonnier, lovingly known as “Uncle YAK.” Their relationship was defined not only by love, but by laughter and joy. Through Maeson, many witnessed Jaccob’s childlike spirit — playful, lighthearted, and deeply connected through happiness and presence.
Jaccob believed deeply in love and in the idea that every person has a soulmate. For him, that was his girlfriend, Madison Jade Van Hee. He cherished their connection and believed they were brought together by a magnetic force greater than themselves. Jaccob loved Madison deeply and envisioned a future with her that would be filled with joy, peace, and happiness. He found comfort in knowing that Madison will remain surrounded by the love and protection of his family, cared for in the way he always intended.
Through his deep devotion to family, Jaccob was instrumental in reuniting his mother and sisters, helping begin a completely new chapter in all of their lives. That act of love was courageous, healing, and life-changing. It reflected both the depth of his spirit and the strength of his character. He restored connection where it was needed most and did so with tenderness, determination, and grace.
Jaccob pursued education in Holistic Studies and Child Psychology, fields that reflected his natural desire to understand people, support growth, and bring healing where it was needed. He possessed an intuitive ability to read energy and positively impact the lives of others through encouragement, mindfulness, and emotional awareness. He did not simply hear what people said — he felt what they carried. He understood that encouragement can restore hope and that mindfulness can open doors to transformation. His gift was not only knowing how to help others, but making them believe they could rise.
His life was enriched by many passions that reflected the breadth of his spirit. He loved holistic healing, meditation, dance, choreography, boxing, cooking, reading, numerology, astrology, and the study of energy and vibration. These were not merely hobbies; they were expressions of a man who sought alignment, discipline, creativity, and meaning in all he touched. Whether moving with rhythm, preparing a meal, expanding his mind through reading, or reflecting on life’s deeper patterns, Jaccob brought intention and presence into every moment.
Those who knew Jaccob understood that he was loving, funny, creative, and deeply inspiring. He could brighten a room with his personality and leave others feeling seen, understood, and encouraged. His humor brought relief, his creativity brought beauty, and his loving nature brought comfort. He had a rare gift for making people feel valued, and that gift left a lasting impression on countless lives. He believed kindness was strength, joy was resilience, and authenticity was courage.
In many ways, Jaccob lived as a motivational speaker without ever needing a stage. His life itself was the message. He reminded others to trust their gifts, heal what hurts, move with intention, and believe in the power of transformation. He taught by example that one can be strong without becoming hardened, expressive without losing depth, and spiritual without losing practicality. He embodied the belief that every day is an opportunity to grow, love more deeply, and leave people better than you found them.
Though his journey ended far too soon, the impact of his life remains. The lessons he shared, the love he gave, and the energy he carried continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him. Jaccob showed that a meaningful life is built through small and sacred acts of care, encouragement, and presence. He leaves behind memories of laughter, guidance, movement, insight, and devotion that will never be forgotten.
As an insightful and intentional man, those who loved him can still hear his words: “No matter the outcome, everything works in our best interest.” Jaccob Darbonnier Hernandez made people feel valued, inspired, and unstoppable. That is the legacy of a life well lived. That is the light he gave. And though his journey in this system of things has ended, that light continues to shine through the love he inspired and the hearts he touched.
In the words of Aang, “When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change.” This is the most difficult challenge anyone in Jaccob’s circle of trust has ever faced; however, in Celebration of Jaccob’s Life, we will always choose to rise. We will make Jaccob proud and are confident we will see him again.
