Jack Lee Long

            Jack Lee Long, born April 5,1941 in Brighton, CO to Howard and Alma Long passed away on September 8, 2023. He was 1 of 13 kids. Jack graduated from Brighton High School in 1959 and married Dolores Darline Genereaux on March 10,1960. Together they raised 3 children, Howard, Alvin, and Connie. Jack was in the army for 10 years. He was an auto mechanic, raised milking shorthorn cattle. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping, and enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. Jack never met a stranger and loved animals, even carrying dog treats in his pockets. 

            Jack is survived by his wife Darline, sister Juanita Adams, sons Alvin (Heidi) Long and Howard (Lori) Long, daughter Connie Pigg, 3 sisters in law, 11 grand kids, 7 great grand kids, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Alma, his brothers Glenn, Roy, Richard, Billy, Don, Wayne, Bobby and sisters Tina-Faya, Shirley, Ruth, Kay, son in law Jeff Pigg, great-grandson Liam Pigg, and great-granddaughter Madilynn Pigg.
