Jackie (Jack) Lee Nagy, 82. Passed away May 28, 2021. A native of Brighton, Co. Born to Mike & Sophia (Miklaus) Nagy on Oct. 8, 1938. A Brighton High School graduate class of 1957. Jack joined the U.S. Navy in August of 1957. He served 10 years with the “Fighter squad 194” as a F-8 aircraft mechanic, reaching a E-4 rank. While stationed in the Pacific he was awarded the National Defense service medal, the Vietnam service medal, 2 Bronze stars and the Republic of South Vietnam Campaign medal.
Jack married Carmen (Rosales) July 20, 1973. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Brighton. Widowed in 2011 he continued to enjoy retirement.
Survivors include Son Calvin (LeeAnn) Nagy of Ocala, Fl., Daughter Beth (Louie) Pacheco of Laurel, MT, Step son Tim Rosales of Brighton, and Step daughter Carla Abeyta of Thornton, CO. Also leaving behind 10 Grand children, 18 Great grand children and 2 Great-Great grand children.
He loved his family, watching baseball and volunteering to coach youth baseball teams. He cheered on his Colorado Rockies and the Denver Bronco’s. Jack was well-loved and will be greatly missed by many. Rest easy and fly with the angels!
