James "Jim" Allen Skrbina

Jim was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to Verna Wetlaufer and Frank Skrbina and was the youngest of four siblings. He married his wife Pamela Refro in November of 2015.

Jim attended Jefferson high school where he received his high school diploma. He enlisted in the Air force where he became MSG(Master Sergeant). After serving 23 years he retired from the Air Force and Started working as an elevator technician. He retired from Otis Elevator in 2016.

Jim spent most of his time working on projects around the house, traveling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife Pamela Renfro, daughter Jessica Lopez (Steve), stepdaughter Staci Brumley, sister Kathy Renslow (Nate) and brother-in-law Pete Zillich as well as Candace Gerace (Marty) and family and Mike Renslow and family. Along with two grandchildren Alexis Villela Johnson (Logan) and Kaito Lopez. He is preceded in death by both parents Frank and Verna as well as his brother Frank and sister Cheri Zillich.

Memorial service will be held at Tabor Rice Funeral home in Brighton, Colorado on December 9th, 2025. Visitation will be at 10am and service will start at 11am.
