Janet Palyo
Janet (Hall) Palyo, passed away peacefully at her home in Hudson, Colorado on October 17, 2023.
Janet is survived by her husband of 65 years, Julius L. Palyo, daughter Vera, son Jules (Wendy), 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister in England.
Born May 15, 1939, to Frederick and Vera (Thatcher) Hall in Newbury, Berkshire, England.
May 31, 1958, Janet and Julius (an Air Force Airman) married in Newbury, England. After the arrival of their first-born daughter, Vera Lorraine, they moved to Topeda, Kansas, then a few years later to North Dakota, where they welcomed their son Jules. While in North Dakota, Janet became a U.S. citizen which she was very proud of. After Julius came back from a tour in Vietnam, they were transferred to Michigan then four years later to Colorado.
Colorado ended up being their home after an adventurous attempt to move to Florida where a hurricane blew them back to Colorado.
Janet’s love for animals was her drive to starting a horse business, during which time she had over 70 horses.
