Janice Ann Tholen, 64, of Brighton, Colorado died on July 23, 2009 in Brighton. She was born on December 11, 1944 in Prescott, Arizona to Adam and Hazel (Dean) Schmidt. Janice attended local Brighton schools. She married Larry R. Tholen in 1991. Janice worked for the Brighton VFW for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of Brighton; daughters Shiree Bacon Burdick and Shannon Schrock; grandchildren, Zack and Kaysie Bacon and Levi, Luke and Heather Schrock.
