Jenine Lynn Burrell

Jenine Lynn Burrell, passed away Aug 21st at 5:00 am, in her home in Dacono, CO at the age of 52.  She was born April 22nd, 1971 at 3:13am at Weld County General Hospital in Greeley, CO to Jo Ann and Lyle Nichols. 

She lived and grew up in Hudson, CO with her parents and brothers.  She moved to Ordway, CO with her family where she attended college for her Associates Degree in business from OJC in LA Junta, CO.  She married on October 18th 1995 to Richard Burrell.  They lived in Rocky Ford, CO with her daughter, and she worked as an office manager for the family seed business, Burrell Seed Company.  They lived there for many years before moving to Dacono, CO in 2008.  She worked for the state and made many friends while she was there.  Jenine loved being outdoors and hiking, completing 4 fourteeners in the state of Colorado and hiking multiple parts of the ColoradoTrail. 

In 2020 she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  Her family supported her during her fight and was by her side.  She was loved and looked up to by many.   She was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister/in-law, aunt, and friend.  She was proceeded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Bill and Shirley Burrell.  She is survived by her husband Rick Burrell of Dacono, CO; her daughter and son-in-law Jessi & Kelly O’Feagan of Dacono, CO; 4 grandchildren Cooper Nichols, JoLynn Nichols, Jaymeson O’Feagan and Bentley O’Feagan of Dacono, CO; parents Jo Ann & Lyle Nichols of Ordway, CO; brothers & sister-in-laws Jason & Lolene Nichols of Las Animas, CO, Chad & Tammie Nichols of Ordway, CO along with nieces & nephews. 

She will be deeply missed by everyone that loved and knew her.  Her memorial will be held on September 5th at First Baptist Church of Hudson in Hudson, CO.
