Jenny Baca

Jenny Baca, age 70, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was born August 21, 1949, in Brighton, Colorado to Juan Tenorio and Aurora Quintana. Jenny attended Brighton High School and soon after attended cosmetology school. She loved to make people feel and look good with her cosmetology skills but later fell into a long career of medical billing. In October of 1969, Jenny gave birth to her daughter, Denise. She happily took on the challenge of raising her daughter as a single parent until she met the love of her life. March 19, 1983, Jenny married Manuel Baca and moved to Greeley, Colorado.

Jenny semi-retired and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Annelicia and great granddaughter, Indigo. Both of whom she absolutely adored. Being third to the youngest of nine children, family was always a priority. She loved being around her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and her friends any chance she could get. She especially enjoyed game nights which always included a friendly game of poker with her nephews and nieces. Jenny will always be remembered for her love of any social gathering, music, dancing and her contagious laugh. 

Jenny was reunited with her mother, Aurora, father, Juan and four sisters, Josie Bueno, Emer Morales, Prax Sisneros and Carmen Lopez. She is survived by her husband, Manuel Baca, daughter, Denise Tenorio (Ernie Romero), granddaughter, Annelicia, great granddaughter, Indigo as well as her sister Dorothy Garcia, brothers Manuel (Virginia) Tenorio, Bob (Priscilla) Tenorio and Fred (Naomi) Tenorio along with many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Due to the current circumstances, a memorial service and celebration of life is postponed until a later date. Cremains will be buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton, Colorado. 

Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Garcia, James Garcia, John Tenorio, Frank Tenorio, Rob Tenorio, Rick Tenorio, Julius Sisneros and Leonard Sisneros.
