Jeromy Noel Ewing, age 52, passed away November 25, 2024. He was born July 6, 1972, in Ft. Morgan, Colorado.
He is survived by his mother Jeannie VanDuyne, his children Joey and Jade Ewing. Surviving paternal family members are Mark and JoAnn Nelson and their children and Floyd and Virginia Eley and their children. Surviving maternal family members are Lindy Byram Shirk and Clif Byram.
Jeromy was predeceased in death by his grandparents Joe and Alice Ewing and Bob and Melba Byram and by his uncle Wallace Ewing.
As a young boy he lived across the yard from Grandma Alice and Grandpa Joe Ewing. This little blonde boy was Grandpa’s sidekick while farming. His summers were spent on the farm or camping with his Aunt JoAnn and her family.
Jeromy loved riding the dirt bikes, building campfires, watching the sunsets and gazing at the night sky trying to find the Big Dipper.
Throughout his life, Jeromy never forgot where he came from and how much his family meant to him. He checked in frequently with Grandpa and Grandma. Many family gatherings were spent at the grandparent’s farm, and he was the delightful older cousin to all the younger kids. They all said, “Oh, Jeromy is coming, the cool cousin!”
In 1995 his son Joey was born, followed by his daughter Jade in 2009. They were the LOVES of his life.
Jeannie taught her son to have a kind heart and to think of others. He was there for her from her terrible car crash to losing her home in Florida to hurricane Helene.
Jeromy made friends easily and each one became a cherished member of his family. His kind and wonderful heart enabled him to reach out to those who needed a helping hand, making room in his home for friends and family when needed.
Jeromy’s friends became his brothers in motorcycling trips, and they truly bonded as brothers in a real sense.
Jeromy was in the directional boring industry since he was 15 years old. For the last 11 years he has worked as the Directional Boring Foreman for the Hooper Corporation of Commerce City. Some members of his crew have been with him for nearly 30 years.
Jeromy was never one to shy away from someone in need. For all the loving lessons he taught us throughout his life, we will dearly miss him in our lives.
