Jesse Lee Smith

Jesse L. Smith, 33, of Denver, Colorado passed away on October 23, 2018. Jesse was born to James L. and Marcelina E. (Trujillo) Smith on May 13, 1985 in Denver. Jesse attended schools in North Denver and Thornton.

Since he was very young, Jesse long had a knack for all things mechanical. When he was young, he was known for taking things apart and putting them back together in different, but always functional ways. As he grew older, Jesse took this gift and began both a hobby and a career in auto mechanics. Jesse could take just about anything apart and put it back together. Jesse will be remembered for always helping anyone in need, even if all you got was a grunt in reply when you tried to thank him.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Marcie; his siblings, Dominica Smith-Forsyth and James Smith; his grandparents, Luis and Loyola Trujillo; his 3 rambunctious nephews, Austen, Kaiden, and Masen; his Uncle Luis (Louie) Trujillo, his Aunt’s Jacquie, Amy (Luis), Sarah (Glen), and Eileen (Richard), and many cousins and friends, and by his beloved dog, Blue.

Jesse was proceeded in death by his father, James, his Grandmother Rita, his Uncle Kenneth, and his Great-Grandmother Refugio.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home at 75 South 13th Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601. Reception to follow at The Alli Event Center at 100 South Third Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601.
