Jessica “Jesi” Robyn Peters
Jesi was born at 0022 on October 31, 1989 at Offutt AFB hospital in Omaha Nebraska to Michelle Thomason. She was her mom’s spooky little witch and was the youngest of three. She is survived by her mom, Michelle, husband, Delbert, daughter, Mersaidies, brother, Jed, and sister, Jeanette, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and more. Jesi is preceded in death by her Grandma Jackie and Grandma Ann.
She was raised in Plattsmouth Nebraska where she lived a very eventful youth. At the young age of 17, Jesi met and married the love of her life two weeks later They grew their family in 2009 when their daughter Mersaidies was born. Saidies was Jesi’s greatest joy and always brought a smile to her face. Jesi was the best mother and stay at a home mom. She loved being an aunt and even helped raise her niece Chyanne. She was so happy that she had the ability to stay at home to raise her daughter and to watch Saidies grow into the loving daughter she is today.
Jesi had a super special love, some would call it a fascination, with Bath and Body Works. Wow! She had over a room and a half of scented candles, soaps, and lotions. Candle holders were her biggest thing. There was never enough candles, which meant more candle holders were needed! Couponing was something she spent a great amount of time with. Mom would always tell her that couponing isn’t a “win” unless the foods and items that were couponed were used. Then she would be the giving person she is, and share all of the goodies with everyone. Jesi was one that tended to want to be alone instead of in large groups. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but liked to keep the events intimate. Jesi loved games such as monopoly. She would spend hours playing games on her phone, which was helpful when it came to the long times in the infusion clinics.
Unfortunately, Jesi passed away on January 4, 2022 at 2224. She had a long battle with cancer, which included three major surgeries and multiple trials with chemotherapy.
Jesi would have wanted everyone to be comfortable during the services and therefore, the family request that all who attend dress casually. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Jessica's name to the “Ovarian Cancer Society” as an expression of sympathy.
