Joe F. LaCrue

Joe F. LaCrue age 46, died on November 29th 2020. He was born in Denver, Colorado to Virginia Conde and Jose LaCrue and was the middle child of two sisters.  He was engaged to the love of his life, Susan Sanchez on December 25th, 2019.

Joe spent the majority of his life in Denver, CO and lived in Frederick, CO.  He worked as a National Account Manager the past 9 years for Sheffield Metals.  Joe had a strong work ethic and was very ambitious and driven. He started in outside sales, became the General Manager of the Western Region for 6 years, and then the National Account Manager for the past 2 years.  Joe was a natural in sales. He thrived  and performed best when he was interacting with others and assisting people.

On the weekends Joe enjoyed watching his three sons play sports. One could always find him coming and going to baseball, football or basketball games.  Joe spent a lot of time traveling either for work or for his son’s baseball games.  He was also an avid fly fisherman. He was always checking the fly fishing reports for flows and temperatures.  If not fly fishing, he was on the golf course enjoying a cold beverage.  During the summer Joe was on his boat and camping with friends and family.

Joe is survived by his fiancé Susan Sanchez, his three sons Cole, Ty and Zane; his two step children Breanna Dahl-Sanchez (Jesse) and Brandon Sanchez (Ashley); his loving mother Virginia Conde and step-father Sam Conde; his sisters and their husbands: Joanne Romero & Romido Hernandez, Regina & Alex Wooldridge; his step sister Lucinda Conde and her fiancé David Piacenti; his half-brother Tony LaCrue and sister-in-law Jessica LaCrue; nephew Gabriel Hernandez; nieces Angela Romero (Mindy), Isabel and Sloane Wooldridge; numerous uncles/aunts/cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father.

In lieu of flowers, or in addition to, a college fund has been set-up for his sons (First Bank LaCrue College Fund).
