Jonathan Rangel Obituary

Jonathan Rangel

Jonathan was born in Del Rio, Texas to Juanita Almeida and Ascencion Rangel and was the youngest of 7 siblings. He was raised by Olivia Smith.

Although Jonathan was born in Texas, Colorado was where he called home. He moved to Colorado at a very young age with his three older brothers. At a young age, Jonathan was very knowledgeable, observant and had found a passion for playing video games and listening to music. As Jonathan grew older, he became more adventurous and came to love exploring the great outdoors. Jonathan was a very free-spirited young man.

Jonathan was known for being quiet and conservative, but when surrounded by the right people, family and friends, he was quite the opposite. Always smiling, outgoing, playful and humorous.  Through his years of living in Colorado, Jonathan made many friends that he’s considered family and loved them all dearly.

Thank you to all of those who helped him through his daily struggles and hard times. Jonathan struggled with depression but even through all the pain he remained kindhearted with a loving soul.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Juanita Almeida. His father, Ascencion Rangel, and his stepmother, Olivia Smith. Also, by brothers: Rodrigo Almeida, Adrian Salazar (Mariah Lucero), Ascencion Rangel Jr., and Juan Manuel Santos Rangel. Sisters, Monica Almeida (Marcos Puente) and Daniela Almeida. He is preceded in death by both grandparents, Rosa and Manuel. By Uncle Manuel, Cousin Stephanie, and brother-in-law, Andres.

Goodbye is not forever; goodbye is not the end. It simply means I’ll miss you, until we meet again.
