Joseph P. Jaso, 83, a lifetime resident of Commerce City, Colorado passed away on February 26, 2020.
Born on August 30, 1936 to Macario and Casimira (Padilla) Jaso, Joseph graduated from Fort Lupton High School. He worked for Lloyd Thiesen Construction in Fort Lupton before operating his own business JPJ Masonry out of Commerce City for ten years.
In his free time, Joseph loved fishing, the Denver Broncos, and always enjoyed a good game of poker. Most of all, he relished in his family gatherings and spending time with them.
Joseph will be remembered by his family members whom survive including, children, Terry L. Jaso, of Thornton, Colorado and Barbie Jaso, of Brighton, Colorado; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, William Jaso, of Fort Lupton, Sid Jaso, of Albuquerque, NM, Nina Montoya, of Commerce City, Margaret Alvarez, of Denver, and Casi Ramirez, of California.
The family will receive friends and family during visitation on Monday, March 2, 2020, beginning at 6:00 p.m., with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Tabor Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th Avenue, in Brighton, Colorado. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Augustine Catholic Church, in Brighton, with Interment and Military Honors to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
