Judy was born in Monte Vista, Colorado, to Earl Prece Archuletta and Rosebell Louise Archuletta and was the oldest of four siblings. She married her high school sweetheart, Johnny Saiz Jr., on November 4, 1966. Together, they had two sons, Channing Saiz and Lance Saiz.
Judy spent the majority of her life in Denver, CO. She worked at various factories, including Ceelco, The Russell Stover Chocolate Factory, and the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. She also worked in retail at Montgomery Ward, where she enjoyed selecting items for her family. However, her deepest passion was for her family and the role of a homemaker, a vocation that holds immeasurable value and significance in the world.
Judy was a strong woman of faith who instilled the importance of loving the Lord in her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from preparing delightful feasts that brought her family together. Her home was not just a shelter; it was her pride and joy, always open to those in need of a warm meal or a place to stay. She had a knack for finding the perfect home decor, transforming her house into a cozy haven. The holidays were particularly special to her, as she poured her heart into decorating, creating a magical atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. In addition to her love for cooking and decorating, Judy was an avid Barbie collector and took great pleasure in planting beautiful flowers and bushes around her home.
Judy is survived by her husband, John Saiz Jr.; her three siblings; her two sons, Chan and Lance; her seven grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both of her parents.
