Karen J. Schwab

Karen J. Schwab, 61, of Henderson, passed away March 15, 2013 in Brighton. She was born December 16, 1951 in Racine, WI to Thomas and Alice (Sorenson) Acklam. She attended schools in Brighton and married Larry Schwab on April 2, 2006 in Northglenn.

She enjoyed antiquing, yard sales and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Karen loved gambling, both slot machines and lottery tickets. She also enjoyed fishing and asparagus hunting! She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Karen is survived by her husband, Larry, of Brighton; two sons, Lukas (Cindy) Neiberger and Texal Jenkins, both of Thornton; Son In law Bo Collins, brothers, Clarence Acklam of Denver, Chris Acklam of Henderson and Carl Acklam of Brighton and five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both parents; daughter, Rhonda in 2008 and one brother, Kurt.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th Avenue in Brighton.
