Karl M. Kennison

Karl Mitchell Kennison was born November 9th, 1965 to Joseph and Doris Kennison. He grew up in Westminster, Colorado graduating from Ranum High School in 1985. Karl married Shelley Overman September 29th, 1989. Together with their two children, they made their home in Arvada, Colorado.

Karl loved fishing, jet skiing, camping, the Broncos, music (most importantly Van Halen,) and his family. He enjoyed spending the holidays surrounded by loved ones, cracking jokes and bringing light to every room. He was a proud husband, dad, papa, Italian and follower of Christ. 

He is survived by his wife Shelley, daughter Amber, son Brandon, granddaughter Brooklynn, and fur baby Shyanne. In-laws Dwight and Diana Overman. Brother Ken, Randy and brother in-law Ron, Roger, and Joe. Sisters Renee, Kay, and sisters in-law Kimberly, Debbie, and Sandy. Nephews Chris, Randy, Joe Jr., Mark, Ryan, Steven, Kevin, and Matthew. Nieces Kelli, Jill, Angie, Nicole, Amy, Amanda and numerous other nieces and nephews, countless colleagues and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Jerry, parents Joseph and Doris, nephew Jeremy, and loved family dog Dutchess. 

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 2nd, 2019.  Beginning promptly at 10:00am at Tabor Funeral home: 75 South 13th Avenue Brighton, Colorado 80601.
