Kathy was born in Austria in 1946, came here in the 50s with her family at the age of 5 after WWII. She was born in a DP camp, and premature at only 2lbs. She fought all the odds. They moved to Colorado where she met Ron in High school then Married Ron Fischer in 1964. Kathy was the oldest of 3 sisters; Najia and Tammy
In the 80s she received her Naturalization, and became a citizen, with her dear friend Steve Kaza and she was very proud of that.
She attended Brighton High School. She was a pet groomer most of her life. She had her own shop in downtown Denver, then at her home on the property. Then worked at the local liquor store as a cashier, among a few other little jobs until she retired when she was 60.
She is survived by her family; Daughter, Tamra Fischer, Son, Ronnie (Tanya) and their two grandsons Braydon and Marcus (Taylor).
She enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, always saving animals, and hanging out with her friends.
Kathy lived in the same house after marriage her whole life, and loved it there. We are happy that we could let her stay at home as she wished. We will miss your loving and kind soul.
