Kevin Lyle Nash

Kevin Lyle Nash was born in Brighton, CO on October 19, 1984, to Kris Donofrio-Nash and Terry Nash. He was the middle child of 3 siblings. He grew up in Brighton, CO, and spent his childhood roughhousing with his brother and sister and running around town with his buddies trying to stay out of trouble.

Kevin met the love of his life and best friend, Shelby Livingston when they were in the 7th grade and had the honor of marrying her on June 19, 2010. He also became an amazing father to Shelby’s son Jeremiah Livingston and their son Cameron Nash who was born on December 5, 2008.

Kevin had a passion for his family, friends, hunting, fishing, and playing jokes on people. Some of his favorite things were camping and road trips, even if it was a quick trip to Estes Park for the weekend. He and his wife Shelby loved to stop at every roadside stand or attraction along the way.

He was kind, caring, and always willing to lend a helping hand or share a laugh and a great story. He had a crooked smile that was so stunning, it would light up the whole room. He was fun-loving, passionate, and he made a huge impact on many lives.

He loved to work with his hands and began his career as a welder straight out of high school working for Merritt Trailers and later, Merritt Equipment. During a small break from Merritt, Kevin spent a few years working with his father-in-law helping him run his tire business, and even continued running the business after his father-in-law passed away. He then got the opportunity to spend time and work with his dad driving a semi for a farm in Ault, CO. Later, he returned to Merritt Equipment where he worked until his passing on July 28, 2023.

He will be forever missed, until we meet again.

Kevin is survived by his wife Shelby, son Cameron and son and daughter-in-law Jeremiah and Kari Livingston. Along with his parents, Terry (Christie) Nash, Kris Nash; brother Terry (Megan) Nash, sister Jill (Doug) Cornell; stepbrothers Cody (Cierra) Tracy and Nick Galecka; Amanda (Josh) Kinzie, Morgan (Jason Beaner) Livingston, Josh (Jami) Lopez, Christy (Jeff) Gappa; nieces Lily Kinzie, Brooklynn Cornell, Alexi Cornell, Cori Jean Tracy, Linlee Tracy, and Hailey Galecka; nephews Ryan Kinzie, Trentin Nash, Adam Cornell, Dawson Lopez, Joshua Lopez, Ryker Lopez, Leiland Tracy and Tucker Galecka. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Lyle and Carolyn Nash and John and Lorraine Donofrio; his father-in-law Kenny Livingston; and his niece RileighAnn Lopez.
