Kevin Tolman Obituary

Kevin Del Tolman, a cherished soul known simply as Kev or Kevin to his friends and loved ones, was called to his eternal home on October 22, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 17, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, Kevin's journey through life was one of dedication to his family, service to his country, a steadfast commitment to his work, and unwavering faith. Answering the call of duty as a young man, Kevin served with honor in the United States Marine Corps. He fought alongside his brothers in arms during the Vietnam War, a true testament to his patriotism and love for his country. His service would be a source of pride throughout his life, as he carried the values of discipline, selfless service, and humility into all his endeavors.

Following his military service, Kevin began a longstanding career with the Great Western Sugar Co and obtained his GED. He later dedicated 40 years to the Intertape Polymer Group while furthering his education with general studies at Regis University. His work ethic and loyalty were exemplary, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, his family, and the community. Kevin's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and providing solace during life's trials. He lived his beliefs through acts of kindness, a gentle spirit, and an unwavering trust in God's plan. He lived his faith by exemplifying what he so often shared with others, “Just do the right thing.” He passed away peacefully in Danville, Virginia, where everyone he came in contact with was met with compassion and kindness.

Family was the light of Kevin's life. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Alice Tolman, a bond that was a testament to enduring love. He was a source of wisdom and strength to his siblings: Sherry Smith, Rick (deceased), Scott, Austin, and Tod Tolman. Kevin's legacy will live on through his sons and their spouses, Fred and Kelly, and Christopher and Dominique Tolman, who will carry forward his values and love for family. His grandchildren, Nicholas, Alana, Mia, Fiona, Khylie, and Ethan, the apples of his eye, will forever cherish the memories of their grandfather, who taught them the importance of togetherness and the beauty of nature. Kevin's passions extended beyond his family and faith. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like fishing in the quiet of dawn, shooting that honed his focus and discipline, and riding his motorcycle through the winding roads, with the wind as his companion.

Kevin was a man of integrity, generosity, and unwavering conviction. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we take comfort in the knowledge that he is now at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord, and together with Alice. We celebrate Kevin Del Tolman's life, not with a sense of loss, but with gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with him. His journey on earth may have ended, but his story will continue to inspire us all through the lessons he imparted and the unconditional love he shared. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
