Larry Paul Peterson

Larry Paul Peterson passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 78.

Larry was born on July 5, 1946 in McCook, Nebraska to parents Paul and Edith (Pugh) Peterson.

Larry graduated from McCook High School in 1964. He married Jane Flaherty on July 8, 1967.

Larry served in the army from 1966 until he was discharged in 1969. After being discharged, he attended Devry University in Pheonix, Arizona where he received a bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering.

He and his wife, Jane, moved to Thornton, Colorado where he worked for Bell Labs, AT&T, Lucent and eventually retired from Avaya after 39 years.

Larry loved fishing, hunting, camping, scuba diving, and all things out doors.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Jane of 57 years, son Mark of Brighton, CO, son Randy and significant other Monika of Winter Park, CO. Sister Donna (Dennis) Wagner, nephew Kyle Wagner, and niece Lindsay Kraus.
