Laura Lynn Church

Laura Lynn Church, peacefully passed away on November 13, 2023, at her residence in Brighton, Colorado, at the age of 56. She was born on April 6, 1967, in Maryland. Laura was a loving, spiritual, and strong individual with a beautiful light and infectious laugh that touched the lives of those around her.

Laura is survived by her beloved daughter, Cara Church-Underwood, her mother, Betty Church, and her brothers Richard "Rik" Church, William "Bill" Church lll and dog Hershey. She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bud" Church Jr.

Laura attended Brighton High School and furthered her education at AIMS Community College. She had a passion for camping, art, genealogy, gardening, history, music and enjoying life to the fullest. Laura was a student of the Bible but also practiced white magic and collected crystals/gems. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and watching the Bronco games with her family. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to connect with those she loved.

A memorial service will be held to honor Laura's life on November 26, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado. Following the service, a celebration of life will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Jordinelli's in Brighton. All are welcome to attend, and the family kindly requests that those attending the celebration of life bring a dish to share.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Laura's memory to Walk MS, a cause that was close to her heart.

The compassionate staff at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Laura Lynn Church will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her loving spirit and funny nature will forever be cherished in our hearts.
