Laura Lurana Lewis-Morrell

Laura was born in Denver, Colorado on May 10, 1965 to Jimmie Lee and Charla Ann Lewis, she was the youngest of three children. Laura married Todd Joseph Morrell in 2001. Laura spent her early years working as a waitress and a storage facility manager. In 1999 Laura meet Todd and they both went to work for Lightbridge where Laura took the position of Credit Analyst. Laura returned to restaurants when Lightbridge closed the Colorado campus. It was at this time that Laura discovered her love of baking. Laura was a self taught baker, she would spend hours reading recipes until she found the right inspiration. She shared her creations with everyone she met. In addition to baking Laura also enjoyed fishing, skiing, disc golf, attending concerts and hiking the trails above Boulder. Laura is survived by her husband Todd and her brothers Mark and Steven.
