Lawrence Robert Espinoza, known to most as Bett, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2023, at the age of 79. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Bett was born on December 12, 1943, to Castella and Patricio Espinoza in Brighton, Colorado. He was the fifth of nine children. After graduating from Brighton High School in 1961, he went on to work in the construction field and then at the Safeway warehouse where he retired in 2005. Those who knew him could attest to his hard work ethic and desire to work with his hands.
Bett married Rosalie Ramirez in 1981 and would go on to spend the next 41 years devoted to each other.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Tony, Carlos and Louis. He is survived by his wife Rosalie, three daughters, Renee, Roberta and Regina, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Lawrence loved camping, fishing, yardwork, and anything else that would get him outdoors. Throughout Brett’s life, he held an unwavering strength that he shared with others.
There was a sensitive side to Bett that most people did not see. He loved strongly, passionately and had an unwavering faith in the Lord. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
