It is with great sadness and a heavy heart I announce Linda Lee Scheel
entered into eternal peace on April 15th, 2025 with her husband
of 34 years by her bedside.
Linda was born on August 27, 1952 in Denver, CO to the parents of
Charley and Wanda Baumgartner. She was the eldest of 3 siblings.
As a lifelong learner she began her formal education at Weld Central
while also enjoying being a high school cheerleader.
She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma earning
a Master’s Degree in Business.
Always wanting to see different places and explore, she embraced the
opportunity to see the world as a flight attendant for United Airlines.
Yearning for Colorado life, she returned and began a career in the
transportation industry having her own office lasting 35 years.
Her unwavering kindness and genuine spirit resulted in a network
of lifelong friends she forever cherished.
Linda found great pleasure in reading, she was always eager to learn
a wide variety of topics and loved to share her books with others.
As a passionate cook, she enjoyed creating culinary delights and found
joy sharing with her four furry companions and beloved friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, Leon; siblings Ronald Baumgartner,
Brenda Krzan, and niece Sara Krzan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in-law.
