Loleta M. Rice

Loleta Marie Rice, 71, of Hudson entered into rest on May 5th, 2016. She was born on February 15, 1945 to Donald and Verna Delventhal. She grew up in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School. On May 7th, 1964 she married the love of her life, Weddell Rice in Brighton and together they raised two daughters.

Loleta enjoyed camping and fishing trips with her family. She was a very talented quilter and was accomplished at crocheting. Above all - Loleta loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Loleta is survived by daughters: Tammy (Vance) Pierce, Bonnie Warner; sister: Donna Wagner; grandchildren: Preston, Dustin, Shan, Latricia, LeAnna, Katrina and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Weddell Rice and her parents.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, May 13th and a funeral service will follow and begin at 11:00 AM. All services will be held at: The First Baptist Church of Hudson, 610 Cherry St., Hudson, CO 80642
