Lonnie Patrick Mizunaga

Lonnie Patrick Mizunaga, age 55, of Westminster, CO, passed away on January 24, 2026 at home.

Lonnie was born on July 4, 1970 in Brighton, Colorado to Anita and Eddie Mizunaga.  He was raised in Brighton and attended Brighton Schools and Cal Lutheran College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Lonnie worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist for over 25 years.  He was known for his work ethic and analytical accomplishments.

He enjoyed (was obsessed with) touring Disneyland with family, going to concerts and touring art galleries with Al and Joe.

Lonnie will always be remembered for his kindness, humor, generosity, and quirky quick questions fired at rapid speed, not always waiting for an answer.

Lonnie is survived by his son Griffin; Griffin’s moms, Liz and Barbara, close friends of Lonnie’s; his parents, Anita and Eddie; his brother Jeremy (Jennifer); Nephews Troy and family; Jacob and family; Nieces Kaylee and Nevaeh; his Aunts and Uncles Dana, Lori, Dustin, Yuki, Marcus, Joyce, Jodi, and Randy; his Cousins Nikki, Danielle, Justin, Dillon, Katelynn, Derian, Dennis and Family, David and Family, Eric and Family; his close friends Greta, Al, Joe, Chris, Lila, Rick, Alan and too many to name.

He was preceded in death by Mizunaga and Pixler Grandparents, Aunties Eiko and Diana, Uncle Johnny, Cousins Mandi and Tiffany.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Benedict Park, Structure 3, 1855 E. Southern Street, Brighton, Colorado 80601.
