Lorraine “Lori” Reynolds Obituary

Lori was born in Allegan, Michigan to Paul and Margaret Weaver on April 6, 1943, and was the oldest of two siblings.  She married her high school sweetheart, Gerald “Jerry “Lee Reynolds on August 11, 1962, in Hopkins Michigan.

Lori spent much of her life in Grand Junction Colorado, working for the local School District as a Secretary Administrative Assistant for the director of Special Education.  She loved spending time with family and friends in the mountains camping.  The San Juan Mountain range or the Grand Mesa were popular spots for her along with her two sons, Todd and Dan.

Lori spent the next chapter in her life enjoying retirement with Jerry.  Cruises in the Caribbean or camping along the Alcan highway salmon fishing.  Lori and her family traveled every Christmas back to Michigan to visit.

In 2014 Jerry passed and in 2018 Lori moved from Grand Junction, CO to Lochbuie, CO to be closer to her sons.  Lori lived an independent lifestyle for several more years.  In 2020, she started undergoing dialysis 3x per week, greatly reducing her traveling freedom.

Lori is survived by her mother Margaret, sister Eileen, and two sons, Todd (Beth) Reynolds and Dan Reynolds: along with five grandchildren, Jesse, Casey, Conner, Kaya, and Rylie.  She is preceded in death by her father, Paul and Husband Jerry.
