Obituary

      Luanne M. Case, age 91, passed away on December 07, 2025, at home with her family surrounding her. She was born on March 30, 1934, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Louis and Cledia (Merritt) Tartaglia. Her father passed away when she was a young child and the family moved around a lot during her younger days.

She was working at the phone company with her friend Bea in Denver, when Bea arranged a blind date with Leonard Case. After the first date she was not sure about him, but things did work out at the end and they were married on May 8, 1954, and just celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary this year. During this union they were blessed with four boys.

She helped on the dairy farm and then became a real estate agent until her retirement.

She loved to travel and would visit as many golf courses as possible.  Bowling, music, writing poems and having gatherings were some of her favorite things to do.  She was a member of the Jaycee Jills Club in Brighton.  She decorated for every holiday, but Christmas was the one holiday she went all out for.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her two sisters Betty and Helen.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Case and children, Gary Case (Terri Irsik), Greg (Diana) Case, Ken (Stephanie) Case, Randy (Kim) Case, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and her brother Jim (Karolee) Wright. 

Services will be held at St. Augustine December 18, 2025 Eulogy will be read at 10:45 AM
