Maria, “Mary”, was born on February 3,1950 in San Isidro Norte New Mexico, to Filadelfio Aragon and Virginia Sandoval. Her family moved to Roggen Colorado in 1952. From Roggen, they moved to Hudson where she lived out the rest of her life.
Mary worked at the Pepper Pod restaurant when she was young and then worked at various nursing homes. She became disabled after an accident and could no longer work. She enjoyed her cars and occasional dinner out.
Mary loved playing bingo in her younger days, and she loved the Broncos. You could hear her cheering and yelling at the tv on game day.
Not having a family of her own, she was always closest with her sister Stella’s family whom she could always depend on no matter what. She spent holidays, special events, dinners and get togethers with them and they were there with her till the end.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Filadelfio and Virginia Aragon, siblings Jimmy Rogers, Melba, Cruz and Ben.
Mary is survived by her sister Stella Reyes, of Hudson CO, brother Dan Aragon of Las Vegas Nevada, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her one true love and companion of the last 14 years, Patrick Lugo.
