Marjorie "Margie" Lee (Bower) Stewart

Marjorie “Margie” Lee (Bower) Stewart passed away February 8, 2025 at the age of 86 in Brighton Colorado.

Margie was born June 9, 1938 in Morrill, Nebraska to Henry and Katherine Bower and was one of nine siblings.  She married Ivan Ross Stewart on August 23, 1958 recently celebrating 66 years of marriage.

Margie loved traveling through Europe, showing hospitality to family and church friends, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a kind and honest soul and known for her toughness.

She is survived by her husband Ivan, brother Charles (Chuck), daughters Deanna Lee Philbin (Bob) of Trinidad, Colorado and Donna Rae Oncza (Rob) of Moore, Oklahoma.  Grandchildren Paul Philbin, Daniel Philbin, Sarah Farnell, Ruth Rodriguez, Nathan McKibben, Garrett McKibben and their respective spouses.  Great grandchildren, Emily, Victor, Leo, and baby girl McKibben, due in April.

She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Katherine Bower, brothers Harold, Alvin and Edward, and sisters Darlene, Rachel, Ella, Joann and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Brighton Church of Christ, 1929 E. Egbert St, Brighton Colorado at 10:30 a.m.
