Mark W. Garcia

Mark Garcia, 51, of Brighton, passed away November 3, 2012 at his home. He was born on July 7, 1961 in Littleton, CO to Joseph and Beatrice (Moya) Garcia. Mark lived most of his life in Brighton. He married Tina Ramirez on January 15, 1983 in Brighton.

For the last 13 years Mark worked for School District 27J as a Groundskeeper. He had previously worked for Haliburton and Golden Aluminum in Ft. Lupton.

Mark loved riding his 2001 Heritage Softtail Harley Davidson motorcycle. When he wasn't riding, he enjoyed playing pool and cards along with singing and dancing. But most of all he loved everyone! He was a loving father and husband and a father figure to many.

Mark is survived by his wife, Tina Garcia, of Brighton; mother and father-in-law, Leroy and Lucy Ramirez of Brighton; children, Melissa (Matt Pacheco) Garcia, Mark (Jessica Ord) Garcia, Joseph Garcia and Tiana Garcia, all of Brighton; siblings, Connie (Claude) Renner of Commerce City, Conrad (Andrea) Martinez of Denver, Senida (Isaias Morales) Romero of Commerce City, Mario Garcia of Brighton, Gary Garcia of Brighton, Tina (James) Hernandez of Wattenberg, Karen (Richard) Mayfield of Brighton and Christina (Rico Villarreal) Ramirez of Brighton; two grandchildren, Xavier Pacheco and Lucile Beatrice Garcia. Mark was also blessed with seven god-children and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00a.m. All services will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
