It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin Ray Marquez on June 1, 2025. Born on July 18, 1954, Melvin Ray Marquez was 69 years old and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Melvin Ray Marquez is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Constance Marquez; his six children, Michele Vargo, Valentino Marquez, Amy Mendoza, Matthew Marquez, Robert Marquez, and Joseph Marquez; and his 19 grandchildren Becky Simeone, Blake Simeone, Megan Simeone, Monica Marquez, Antonio Marquez, Cierra Weber, Nadia Mendoza, Alina Mendoza, Cruz Mendoza, Marcelo Marquez, Juliana Marquez, Lorenzo Marquez, Daisy Marquez, Sofia Marquez, Nick Villarini, Lorenzo Villarini-Landry, Dante Villarini, Bella Villarini, Damian Marquez and 10 Great Grandchildren. His parents, Anastacio P. Marquez and Sofia Martinez, predeceased him.
Melvin Ray Marquez was a dedicated machinist for over 20 years, during which he was known for his charming personality that endeared him to everyone. He was also passionate about hunting, fishing, laughing, and living life to the fullest. He had a knack for making everyone feel comfortable and loved, and he was recognized for his sense of humor as well as being the number one Denver Broncos fan.
Melvin Ray Marquez was a devoted father to his children and grandchildren and a loyal friend to many. Whether he was telling jokes, hosting family games, or showcasing his funny birthday serenades and wedding toasts, he made every moment unforgettable. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the love he shared.
