Nathaniel "Nate" Santos Sanchez

Nathaniel Santos Sanchez, age 15, passed away on August 25, 2021 in Brighton, Colorado. He was born on June 16, 2006 to Christi Shennum and Marcos Sanchez which was also in Brighton, and was currently a sophomore attending Riverdale Ridge Highschool.

For fun and enjoyment, Nate really appreciated playing both video and computer games with his online friends. He often would stay up late, talking to his friends while playing his favorite video games because he found comfortability and support in those activities. Nate and his father were also a huge Las Vegas Raiders fans, and Nate absolutely adored taking care of his little dog “Taco”. He enjoyed reading comic books, and his new profound love in cooking brought joy to his heart. In his younger years Nate loved to play outside with his cousins and family outdoors, he loved Thomas the train, and singing gospel music when he went to visit his grandparents. Even though now days with Nate not being as active as he once was, he still loved to spend time with his family whenever he had the opportunity to do so.

Nate is survived by both parents; Christi Shennum and Marcos Sanchez. By his three siblings; Tomas and Jazmin Sanchez and Iliana Martinez. Along by his Nephew Mateo Sanchez and both grandparents; David and Carole Shennum. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents; Bartolo Sanchez and Nana "Guzmara" Castaneda and by numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Nathaniel is preceded in passing by his sister, Samantha Sanchez.
