Noah Hicks Obituary

Noah Junior Hicks August 1, 1931 – November 17, 2024

Noah Junior Hicks, a devoted minister, loving family man and cherished community member passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024.

Noah was born in Siler City, North Carolina to Luther and Wincie Hicks. On August 3, 1950, he married his beloved wife Ada, just before serving in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Noah dedicated his life to serving others through various roles: minister, barber and dry cleaners. He delighted in simple pleasures – crossword puzzles, dominos, music and worship services. His infectious smile and warm demeanor made him a beloved figure, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Noah is preceded in death by his loving wife Ada Hicks, his parents Luther and Wincie Hicks. One brother, Talmadge, one half-brother, Archie, and a sister, Emma Jean. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Davis (Gary), daughter Linda Aguero (Eric) and son Jerry Hicks. He had three grandchildren: Christy (Robert), Jason (Joey) and Brent (Jenni), nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Inglenook at Brighton staff and hospice caregivers for their compassionate care and support.
