Octaviano Murillo-Delgado Obituary

Octaviano “Tano” Murillo-Delgado

Tano was born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua on September 25th, 1962 to Siria Delgado alongside four siblings. He married “Grams” the love of his life on February 14th, 1988 when he was 25 years old and married for 33 years.

Gramps was considered a “snowbird.” He resided in Brighton, Colorado during the summer months to then escaping the snowy winters with Grams in Arizona, where they shared their second home.

Tano had over 30 years of experience and knowledge in the landscaping industry where he dedicated 17 years to being a project manager at All Phase Landscape. He considered the people he worked with as his work family. He was also President/owner, and operator of Delgado Landscape; his family-run landscaping business where he could see a blank canvas and the finished landscape would be a piece of art.

When he wasn’t working, Tano would be traveling to the beaches of Mexico, or to other countries with his family, friends, and neighbors. He loved being outdoors; playing pickle ball with friends, riding bikes with Nolan, and of course playing soccer with his teammates who he considered more as his brothers for over 22 years. Tano won countless soccer championships, he traveled to Las Vegas for tournaments, played with his lunch time group during the middle of the week; there were games every Sunday and even indoor on Monday nights. No matter what, he was there for every Sunday Dinner with his family, where he would prove how great of a cook he was.

Tano loved his family, neighbors, teammates, and friends very much. He was a husband, dad, Papa, son, brother, teammate and so much more to the countless people that love him. Our family is very thankful for all the visits, calls, text messages and finding comfort in hearing stories of how he touched everyone’s heart personally.

Tano is survived by his wife Pamela Murillo-Delgado. His mother, Siria Delgado; three siblings, Lilia, Ricardo, and Virginia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His daughter, Desiri (Fritz); and sons, Eugene (Kouri), Michael John, and Ian. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Geno, Sierra, Jasmine, Gabe, Mariah, Jenea, Marcus, Dante, EJ, and saving the best for last… Nolan. He is proceeded in death by both of his maternal grandparents.
