Paul Richard Montoya Jr.
Paul Richard Montoya Jr. was born on September 12, 1972, in Denver, Colorado, to Paul Richard Montoya Sr. and Ramona Rita Lujan. He was their only child. Paul passed away on March 8, 2025, in Thornton, Colorado.
Paul was an entrepreneurial visionary, always ahead of his time. He constantly sought new ideas, often waiting years for the world to catch up with his innovative thinking. A passionate car enthusiast, Paul personalized and collected a wide variety of vehicles, each customized by him. His love for cars was matched only by his dedication as a father. Despite becoming a father at a young age, having three children by the age of 19, Paul made it his priority to ensure they were always provided for and never went without. He was deeply devoted to his parents, always willing to do whatever it took to make sure they were well. A lifelong lover of the bulldog breed, Paul had several bulldogs over the years, each one a beloved companion. Anyone who met Paul would agree that his presence was unmistakable—he could light up a room with his personality and effortlessly connect with anyone. A rare soul, he truly embraced life, savoring every moment and making the most of every experience.
Paul is survived by his sons, Paul (Shelly) Montoya III, Alonzo Montoya, his daughter, Darian Montoya, and his grandson, Orlando Montoya.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his granddaughter, Aviyana Montoya.
Paul’s legacy of self-driven ambition, a heart of gold, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
