Peggy Laverne Plymell, age 77, passed away Friday evening, April 4, 2025. She was born in 1947, in West Point, Mississippi.
Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Ruth and her twin sister, Patricia. She had been a resident of the Thornton / Brighton, Colorado area since 2000.
Peggy loved gardening and plants, dogs and spending time with friends and family. Peggy loved to sew and often made clothes, outfits, tablecloths, and other unique gifts for those around her bringing her true joy. While living in Albuquerque, she sold recreational vehicles and was a small business entrepreneur. She was very proud of her accomplishment for over 40 years sobriety and had sponsored several other women through the years in their quest to overcome addiction.
Peggy is survived by her two sons and daughters-in law: Terry Plymell (Elena) of Parker, CO, granddaughters (Marisol and Nathaly) and Tom Plymell (Wendy) of Greensboro, NC, grandsons (Andrew, Austen, Ariah) and granddaughter (Keira).
Funeral service will be held on April 24th, 10AM at Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado. The family requests that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be sent in her memory to Cross Family Church in Parker, CO (https://crossfamilychurch.org/).
